Windows Movie Maker, audio no video

Trying to import .mpg files into Windows Movie Maker 6.0 running with Vista Home Basic.

All I can get to import is the audio from the video, no picture at all.

I've tried importing directly from my camera, and loading thru the disc... Sony Handycam minidisc...

I've can watch the video on the video viewer, but can't get them into WMM...

I have installed K-Lite Codec Pack Standard, with no luck.

Hi star386a welcome to Cyber Tech Help.

ffdshow codec (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=53761) should help. Install that, reboot, test.
