Windows Mail in Vista Basic

I recently updated o/s to Windows Vista Home Basic and where I used to be able to configure Outlook Express to delete file from deleted items folder on exit of program. There does not seem to be an option to do so in Windows Mail under Vista, anyone assistance please?.:confused:

first time to opened mail :D forgot it was there,

click on tools, options, advanced tab, then maintenance
