Antivirus for the Mac?
As a new Mac user I'm unclear as to whether I need to use an antivirus program or not. Any comments and suggestions appreciated. If you think an AV program is appropriate, let me know which one you use. Thanks....Jim

It's really not needed.

If you INSIST on getting one that will never find anything, you can try McAfee VirusScan for the Mac. You really don't need it though. I haven't seen a Mac virus since 1996.
