500 mhz fast?

I ordered an ibook g3 500 mhz a few days ago. I just wanna no from anyone who has a laptop at 500 mhz speed's opinion. Is 500 mhz relatively fast, horribly horribly slow, or just basic laptop speed that most people can bear with? Thanks

It's 5 years old.. it'll be okay, but fast is not a term I would use. Realize Apple's latest laptops are 2.2ghz... More than 4 times faster.
