C-it camera problem again

I had to run the restore disc to get my C-it camera working again (I have the C-it install disc) however somehow on my desktop I have an icon sysutility.exe It installs windows system files update utility for Windows 98/98 SE/Me so I installed it and found out my C-it camera once more didn't work . When I went to the C-it program in the start accessories and clicked on C-it camera I got the message- class not registered. I uninstalled it then used the install C-it CD according to the directions and I got the same 'class not registered message. I tried reading the C-it Readme.txt Notepad and it came on screen then the mouse froze in a short time . I hit cntrl/alt/delete and it said Msgsrv32 not responding. Maybe that has something to do with it(perhaps an updated file from installing the sysutility.exe icon?) Does anyone have a suggestion to try so I don't have to use the restore CD again. I'm also concerned that that USB connection won't work when i get the cable to hook my synthesizer up with. Thank you

found something new about this problem

I still have'nt used the restore disc mainly because last time i had trouble getting my video streamers working and I'm afraid I won't be able to remember how I did it if I have the same problem. I right clicked My Computer and found the device manager then I noticed in the list is Universal serial bus controller and when I double clicked it I got two listings-USB Root Hub and another one. If I double click either of them I can find the details of the drivers and also it has a button to click to update the files. Do any of you know if this would be of any use to get that camera working again. Remember the problem happened after I used sysutility.exe which supposedly updated files. thanks again
