I just had my FAT have a data error requiring me to format my drive and reinstall windows 98. Now my computer is having trouble installing the software to go with the hardware it is detecting. When 98 detects new hardware and asks for the location of the drivers (which I indicate as being one of my CD drives) I get the message that the drive cannot be found and the lovely three choices of abort, retry or cancel. Any suggestions?
The drives are active and can read discs when the detect/install new hardware is not running.
