When installing my deluxe linux pack, i found that my monitor was not on the list i had to pick from. after 14 attempts at varying custom schemes, i have finaly came here to ask for help.
my monitor is

GENERIC,M-T7F22, SVGA, 17

i have no manuals that have any information about this, and cannot find any online. i, of course need to find

a. my monitor's horizontal and vertical sync frequency options
b. my video adapter's driving clock frequency, or "dot clock"
c. my monitor's bandwidth

i think i have B covered. apart from that, i'm pretty lost.

thanks for looking

Pete

Well you could try pressing your moniter button in windows and it may say in there somewhere a vertical sync number...mine does atleast.

I don't really know. Can you check your manufacturers website for instruction to see if these are the numbers?
Also for me the program below tells me my vertical and horizontal sync rates as a range.
