The umpteen things wrong with my 'puter

To start, my computer puts iligeal operation/error messages up on select internet pages that close the whole explorer. this happens very often but is random, some days sites will work fine then not annother time. MSN also cr*ps out on select days. when that happens, I can expect anything from the typing space shifting to be not being able to read my friends' text. Sometimes, the buttons disappear, and the all the font in the window changes. Also, it never shuts down properly and if it's inactive for too long the window text dissapears and it freezes.

I pity myself. haha

Have you run Scandisk, Defrag and/or Disk Cleanup recently?

Have you scanned for viruses with either an installed, up-to-date antivirus program or one of the free online virus scanners?

Have you scanned for spyware with an up-to-date spyware removal program?
