Random MP3's Not Working in WMP

Hi everyone,

Every once in awhile I download an mp3 that wont play in wmp, it gives me the "cannot play file error", yet my other mp3s work fine. Also, when I play those "bad mp3s" using media player classic that came with the k-lite codec pack they work. Im just trying to figure out why they wont work in windows media player, maybe a new codec? Please help me

Where did you download the mp3's off?

a friend sent me some through aim, all i know is it that the "bad" mp3 will work with media player classic which came with k-lite codec pack, but not wmp, so maybe im missing some kind of mp3 codec?

nevermind i just converted them to from mp3's to mp3's again and it works now, weird

Maybe the header info was corrupted and the player didnt recognize it...
