Norton Protection Center (NIS 2007)- Problem with Protection Updates

Hi all,

I'm facing a problem with my NIS2007 (+ NSWP 2007) of protection updates not being updated in Norton Protection Center window, although LiveUpdate shows "The Product is Up-to-date", also Automatic LiveUpdate option is ON. After a week protection center icon shows exclamation mark over it. This goes only when i run a full system scan in Safe Mode with the same user profile (not Administrator one).

This is the main concerning problem, apart from the ccSvcHst.exe error and ccApp.exe not responding at shutdown. I've read enough on this forum about ccSvcHst error, and that it has no cure by now. I can tolerate them, but running a full system scan every week in Safe Mode, so that NPC icon shows a green checkmark over it, is annoying.

I've tried the re-install option using Norton Removal Tool, but to no avail. Also i've tried the solution given by Symantec, after getting a LiveUpdate error first time, which instucted me to un-install LiveUpdate and re-install it. But After this, problem persists.

Any help will be much appreciated...
