Outlook 2003 labels wrong email spam

I have MS Outllok 2003 and in order to cut down on some of the spam I have used some simple filters, but recently I have had some new business contacts send me email that gets sent to a "spam folder" and is labeled "spam". I haven't applied any filters to cause this that I know of any suggestions on how to fix this?

It may help if you told us what filters you have put in place.

try placing the specific emails senders in the safe senders list
