Angry Norton Security System won't open
My security will not open. Also when I try to go to a secured web page it says it can't be opened. Hope you can help me. It says a problem with ASCOMPBR. DLL AT 017F:022C 9197. Hope you can help me.

Norton Security System won't open
I have Norton Internet Security 2005 for my Windows 98SE. It has been installed for about 6 months and worked until about a month ago.

uninstall, then do a COMPLETE cleanup of your comp so there are no traces of Norton on your comp (including Registry Keys and startup info) then reinstall Norton and it should be working again. Majority of Norton and Symantec problems are that a much needed file gets mysteriously deleted and a great deal of the time its fixed by a Live Update, but in your case when Norton doesn't even open try doing what I said earlier.
