Hi I have a problem with the download, when ever I try to download something it does not matter the size of file. It tells me download complete amount downloaded 103kb but the file size is 806kb, amount it actually downloads may veryup or down in size but never complete a download. I have win 98se with IE and I am using dial-up at the time. Thank you for any advice you may give me.

I don't have Windows 98 but I had a similar problem here (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=154604). The solution was a download manager called getright.

What version of IE are you using? Older versions of IE have a knack of disconnecting for no reason when you cap your speed, also even the new IE (6SP1 and 7) tend to do the same thing less often, my opinion download Firefox and use that as your default browser, its faster and more stable than IE.
