auto checking a-drive

i am not sure why, but my computer run a check of my floppy drive evry so often now and agene.
it stops any applic i runing and my mouse not able to move/click..it lasts only a few moments..drive light comes on and it click click click noise..then it all normal..

can anyone say why this happen?

Hi tonella, welcome to Cyber Tech Help.

You probably have your virus checker set to auto-check the floppy
drive. Check the preferences and unselect A: (or floppy drive).

You should also clear your Documents list from the Start menu...
right-mouse button over any gray area of the taskbar(Start bar)
Properties
Start Menu Programs(tab)
Clear(button)

i have 'go back' (wildfile)
wood this be same? and how do i change theses settings?
