Ok my computer has started to lock up alot. Usually when i play WoW. The screen will lock up and mouse and keyboard become unresponsive and audio stops. Only thing i can do is reboot and 10 mins later bam lock up again. Also when i start up WoW my cursor disapears when the game begins to launch and at that point it freezes and finally when i have alot of programs up like mozilla and listening to music while on ventrilo itll do the same lock up. I am so very desperate right now im writing this at 230 in the morning after not being able to play my WoWs. Im getting a new heatsink in a few days in hope that its just a heating issue and i just need some help PLZ!

These are my computers specs as best as i can remember
CPU-Intel Pentium D Dual-Core 3.0GHz processor
Mobo-PM4800(something like that) Biostar Motherboard
Video Card-XFX 6800xtreme AGP
1gig DDR2 RAM
Sound Blaster Audigy SE sound card
and 160Gig SATA hardrive

Thats from memory so its not the best in the world but hopefully it will do

But any help will be greatly apreciated, also if its any help sometimes but very rarely when i boot up it will say "warning overclocking failed" when i never try to overclock it. I just want to cry every time it locks up in the middle of an instance so PLZPLZPLZPLZ HELP ME!!!!

I just posted this on hardware too but thought id try it on here since its mostly while gaming

Before you do anything take the side panel off your case and run it like that and see if it still locks up.

This same problem started about a month ago but i did take off the side panel and now ive got a box fan next to it blowing in and it solved it at first but now its doing the same thing again.

is it dusty in there, try to use an aerosol spray duster to clean all that gunk out
