I have a direct draw problem apparently

when i try to start playing diablo 2 i get an error message saying "Error 22: A critical error has occured while initializing DirectDraw"

I have the newest Direct x(or at least when i tried to download 9 it told me i had a newer version installed) but i dont think i have a driver for my video card, nor do i know what my video card is or how to find a driver for it.

well...i cant solve your problem but if you want to try update your video card driver.......open my computer then find view system information under system tasks. once u have the system properties box open click the tab that says hardware then click device manager. once device managers open find display adapters. click it then right click the 1 that appears under it....this is your graphix card. either select update driver or now u kno the name of your card go to the manufacturers website and find the correct or better driver
