alright, my buddies problem

He's an avid gamer for Starcraft BW, he has a 19 inch lcd screen

and has been having a recent problem.

his computer resolution is set at 1152X864.

when he enters into a SC game, the screen gets all weird on him and the resolution changes to 800x600, and so he's wondering what is causing this problem and how to fix it.

I told him that it sounds like a graphics card problem, he says the lcd is his baby and he wraps it up everynight so nothing will happen to it lol.

So 2 cents would be greatly appreciated.

Starcraft runs at 640x480. There is no means to change this.

That would depend on what you mean by "messed up".
