Thinkpad Monitor

Hi. Im new here, but i HOPE that someone knows this problem, and has a solution to it.

I've got an older thinkpad, type T21. It funktiond verry well when I got it last week.

But i f**ked up. I made an panic-switchoff, and since then, the screen has been messed up.

Normally one can see the entire desktop, but after my panicaction, only the upper left top of the output signal is visible.

Like this:

Where "normal" should be like this:

I have tryed ALL the settings for monitor and resolution, but it does not help.

It's just like the thinkpad thinks, that my monitor is much larger than it really is. I must scroll my mouse out of sight at the bottom, and click the processline by guessing where the start-button is, to close it down.

The problem allready occurs when starting up the system, when the IBM-logo appears and when the "Starting Windows" logo appears.

Does anybody knows this problem? I'm desperate.

Regards, Bart Loonen, Denmark.
