I am running Vista Home Premium, and have access to a network storage area.
I have been set up with my personal storage area, and have access to a 'public' shared storage area.
To access from Windows Explorer, I need to enter my username, with a null password, and this works fine.
However, when I try to set up Backup and Restore Center to save my data to either the public or private areas, I am asked for a username and password. If I use a null password, I am told I MUST enter a password, and if I do enter a password, I am told it is incorrect!
Is there a way to stop Vista from demanding a password for a resource that does not require one?
More information available if needed.
