Hi Guys

I have a Dell computer with XP loaded on it. The PC was having problems and it was suggested by Dell that I reformat the hard drive. This I did and partitioned for a dual boot, XP Pro and Vista Home Premium. It now seems that the PC needs replacing, by Dell.

My question is will I be able to load m yVista software onto the new PC. I also loaded a new version of Office 2007 and would like to transfer that as well. Neither programs were supplied by Dell.

If I can do this how do I go about it as i am worried about the registration and licence problem. I only had both loaded for about 2 weeks.

If you still have the product keys and the discs for the software there should be no problem at all, unless the software has very stringent licenses, but I doubt it.

Are they OEM or RETAIL?

They are retail versions bought direct from Microsoft

No Problem then. Just might have to call to reactivate.
