No sound?

Just installed vista ultimate; so far working perfectly. but i have no sound....
Where can i get drivers for intel onboard sound? and if this doesnt work im going to be very angry because the vista upgrade advisor said Nothing about possible sound issues.

Depends on the chip it uses, INTEL uses several..sis ect....

Check the specs of your motherboard will tell you which sound chip it is using. Or if it is a name brand system the manufactures page will give the specs. In device manager does it identify the chip??
