Need more detail. What operating systems are involved? What technology of internet (dialup, DSL, cable)? How is the LAN setup? Etc.

And how is your LAN set up? Crossover cable? Do you use a hub, switch or router?

If you want useful advice in the Networking forum, you should give this a read (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84447) as to what kind of information is generally required.

go to start/connect to/show all connections

If you are sharing from wireless to lan, right click your wireless connection and choose properties/ go to the advanced tab and check the box that says "allow other users to connect to the internet..." Then click ok.

If you are sharing from lan to lan, then you are going to want to highlight both Local Area Connections and right click, and bridge connections. Your connections are now bridged, and basically share internet. Be aware that you must use a crossover cable between the two computers for this to work. Chances are if you dont know what a crossover cable is, you dont have one. They are about $20 at best buy. I hope this helps!!!
