Is the program compatible with Vista? If not, have you tried installing it in compatibility mode?

If it is compatible, see if the information on this page (http://consumer.installshield.com/kb.asp?id=Q108158) provides anything helpful.

If you're not sure, tell us the name of the program you're trying to install.

actually i just found a Isscript installer package with the program. I installed it and it gets me further than before but now i get a message stating that it failed to configure the game drive. says i may need to reinstall error code 01. what does that mean?

Everything I can find indicates Game Drive 10 is compatible with XP and W2K.

There is an upgrade you can download from this page (http://www.farstone.com/upgrade/).
