In the future, please keep related questions/topics in the same thread. The bulk of your question was already answered in your other thread (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=158986).
To create a domain, you need one of the following:
Windows Server (2000 or 2003 with Active Directory)
Novell Server (with NDS and the Novell client)
Linux (and distro with SMB and preferable LDAP)
note: these are not the only systems you can use, but are the most stable for domains that I know of
I would suggest that if you don't know anything about domains currently, you read about active directory as it is the easiest of your options to configure. This may help you:
