Hey all I'm new here so please bear with me :]
I've reinstalled vista a-fresh about what mst amount to at least 10 times now, mainly when I was trying to install my new X-fi platinum soundcard with vista idnt seem to agree with. Basically after a reinstall of vista and a BIOS update for my mother board (Gigabyte GA-M55plus-S3G) using @BIOS I got the soundcard working and everything was fine. However after the windows reinstall, whenever I plugged anything plug and play into my USB ports (like flash memory, cameras, a memory card reader in my printer, my phone's memory stick) it would pop up asking me for drivers (which it shouldn't need), searched for them, and couldn't find them. I'm completely at a loss here. If you need any other speccs just ask at the minute my drivers for pretty much everything are latest. Thank for your help.
