Vista reverts to original computer settings

Every time I boot up, the computer starts and loads as if I am turning it on for the first time. Tells me user profile not loaded correctly. Systems restore will "not complete successfully." Can't find any of my documents. Any ideas?

Hi teri777. We need more information. What edition of Vista is installed. Is your Vista an upgrade or are we talking about a new machine. In either case, please post the full specs of your computer.

Hi teri777. Have you tried the 'Last known good configuration' option? See here for more information.
