problems with i-tunes

help!! i have just got myself the new i-pod shuffle, and after a couple of arguments with un-helpful staff, have managed to put music on it. now to make matters worse, i cant seem to get into the itunes store. all it keeps doing is telling me that i have a problem!!! like i couldnt figure that out for myself. it tells me prob code 3212.

can anyone help, as i am a bit usless when it comes to things like this.

Is this on windows or a Mac?

I'm not big on screen shots, but a picture of the error might really help in this case.
