When I send pictures as attachments to e-mails they arrive at the other end as numbers. I am using Outlook Express. I never had this problem before. It's just lately that this has happened. I'm running AVG anti virus and Ad-Aware SE and they have not found any problems with the system. Help.

Hi Novice911. What operating system do you have and what version of Outlook Express are you running.
What type of files are you sending (file extension) and when you say they arrive as numbers, can you please tell us exactly what your recipients receive (the filename and extension).

I'm running Windows XP, Outlook Express 6 and the person who received the pictures said they arrived as scrambled letters. Sorry about the delay in responding.

I received the jpg today Novice911 and it arrived just fine. That being the case, it would suggest that there is no problem with your operating system or email software. The problem is at the receivers end.

AnnMarie,
I continue having problems sending pictures or videos. The one I've copied below is to a person who generally has no problems with these types of documents. Anyway, I sent a video to him and here is a sample of what he received:

This goes on for only God knows how many lines. Any thoughts?
Thanks

I'm sorry, but one further note. I'm not creating these videos but am trying to forward ones I've received from someone else.

Ok but I received the pic you sent without any problem so I believe the problem may be at the receiver's end, not yours. We cant help with that.
