Hi riccia71,
You said that you tried switching on the computer with the startup floppy in it, but nothing happened........nothing happened as in it booted into the operating system on the hard drive or nothing happened as in you received an invalid system disk error?

When you d/loaded the startup disk, did you d/load the file directly to a floppy disk or did you d/load the file to hard drive, then create the startup floppy disk by putting a formatted floppy in the drive and then double-clicking on the d/loaded file to create the startup disk?

Also, did you check to ensure that the boot order in your computer's BIOS is set to boot from the floppy drive before C drive?
