LOL - gimme a break, I just registered on Friday night. My old babe has been running for 14 hours and has managed to process 26% of a work unit...LOL!!!
My XP laptop turns itself off after an hour or so of SETI running. I dunno why. I updated all my drivers, prolly something in the bios but I've completed 25% in 6 hours. I hope to have a couple of units up in the next day or two.

Dave you ever think that they have advanced way past our primative beer? I'm sure they have some kinda bottomless bottle of beer. No matter how much you drink there is always more! ;)

Strongly urge CTH SETI members to use the command line version
ftp://alien.ssl.berkeley.edu/pub/setiathome-3.03.i386-winnt-cmdline.exe
I'm processing units now well under 3hrs using this command line version.
If ya need a hand setting it up gimme a shout - though its pretty self explanatory.
Any GUI (screensaver) users should uninstall their current SETI version before installing the command line version.
