Hi,

Our company has recently become an ISP. Now on our site we want to offer the service for our customers to check the availability of lines in their area.

So does anybody know how to do this? I am not asking for the program, I want a tutorial/idea on how this is done, so i can do it myself.

Thanks,
Seagyn

You'll need to hook into the data that the phone networks provide. If they don't provide it, they may sell it. If they don't sell it, they may have their own search engine. If they don't have one, you'll have to build your own; as well as physically researching the lines and constructing your own database. Otherwise it can't be done.

Oh ok, so we should contact the service provider. I have just noticed alot of people doing this here, so i was hoping that it would just be a web app or something.
