I need to create a boot disk that helps with getting extended memory

I am wanting to play FPS Football 95 and it says I need more expanded memory in order to play. The game has a boot disk creator that comes with it but refuses to create a boot disk on it's own. I just want a simple boot disk that will allow me to play the game. I don't need access to cd rom or a mouse for this game.

hi, and welcome

run explorer, and get into the folder where the game is launched from

run command
(you will see the path as DOS sees it)

format A: /s /autotest
when that finished

edit A:\config.sys
in there, you add these two lines

device=C:\windows\himem.sys
devicehigh=C:\windows\emm386.exe

hit ALT, F, save
hit ALT, F, exit
--------
if you want the game to load from the floppy

edit A:\autoexec.bat
enter something like this

C:\mystuff\whatev~1\gamedir\game.exe

(use the line with the path you actually see when you launched command... so it was important you got there before you ran command, see)

hit ALT, F, save
hit ALT, F, exit

exit
(this closes command)

reboot from floppy, and see if this works
