Updating Fuse

I probably ask too many questions about simple things, but how do I update Fuse to the latest version?

Thanks

What distro are you using? What version of Fuse do you currently have installed?

Cool, would you like to tell us what you did so anyone reading with a similar question this can try your solution?

Sure thing, maybe this will help someone out in the future.

I'm using openSuse 10.2 with KDE as the desktop.

To install using YAST:

1. Browse to the location of the RPM, likely the desktop
2. Right click the RPM
3. There should be an Actions submenu.
4. Under actions select "Install with YAST"
5. When prompted for the root password, type it in
6. Yast does the rest and you've got it installed.

I found out after the fact that the quicker method to do this via command line is

rpm -Uhv name.rpm
