I am trying to reformat my old computer. After wiping out the hard drive, I discovered our floppy drive was not wroking and installed a new floppy drive. Now when I put in the Win 98 startup disk i receive "invalid system disk, replace disk and hit any key" I have checked the system bios(???) and it is set up to boot A, then C. Any suggestions for anything else I can try????

hi guys

please have a look at our tutorials

Also, for a textual "dissertation" on setup "etc" with a good many step by step methods, see top of windows 98 forum

we ask that our members post solutions, and not solve problems thru email.

this helps others with same problem when they drop by at a later date and use the forum SEARCH function wich you find top right button here.
( and which is a good tool in its own right )
