Win 98 to 2000?

When I got my computer, the OS was win98. last time we rebooted it, i saw the option to boot up 2000. i was wondering could i do this?

Possibly. If it was previously set up for dual boot w/ 98 and 2000 then 1 of 2 things will happen:

1) you select Win2000 and it loads meaning dual boot is still intact
2) you select Win2000 and nothing happens but a black screen -- Win2000 has been removed but the info is still part of the boot file. If this is the case, just restart and load to 98.
