Everything works But IE7

Hi, I have a problem with IE7 I was watching a video online in IE using stage6 when i noticed my battery on my laptop was almost dead. i managed to plug in my charger the same time my computer was going into standby mode. this caused the computer to crash and I was forced to hold the power button down until it shut off when i restarted everything but IE7 can connect to the internet. (netscape works msn messenger works ect.) I have tried doing everything I can think of to fix it. I finaly got it to come back up after a router reset (and all the other things can't remember now what all i have done but if somone says something i will know if i tried that) anyway IE7 worked like normal I left the computer on and went to bed the next day IE7 wouldnt work again I have tried reseting the router along with everything else i can find to do posted online but still nothing. can someone please help me???? i also have another computer on this network and IE works fine on it

the error i am getting is the page cannot be displayed....
I tried uninstalling internet explore and reinstalling it, I made a new user, I did a port forward on my router for internet just incase it was being block. I did the spyware and virus scans they turned up nothing. I reset my tcp to default settings. basicly if it could be pulled up in google I did it. does anyone know what i need to do to get this fixed??
