Question Connection issue, and question.

In the past Ive had the occasional problem with my internet losing connection at random times and needing to reset either my router or my DSL modem in order to regain connection. In the past 2 days however, its gotten worse. I get connection for about 5-10 minutes then all of a sudden I cant open a page, or continue what Im doing online. I disconnect and reconnect router power and its fine again for a while. Any ideas as to what is causing this? Its a newer router, so I hope its not malfunctioning.

Also, where would I find the setting to make my pages come up smaller so that I dont have to scroll back and forth to read a full page when on the net. I notice on my PC at work I can see almost an entire page, and the print is smaller as well. Im sure its a quick fix, but Im a PC dummy

Thanks for any help you can give.

For the screen size problem, go to Control Panel>Display>Settings tab and increase the screen resolution one notch to the right. Click Apply. The screen will probably go black for a second or two, don't panic. When it comes back, it'll ask if you want to keep that setting. If you don't click Yes, it'll revert back.

Thanks for the tip. Is there a way so that I could keep the resolution the same, but have the browser pages come up smaller? I do like having the bigger desktop setting.
