Red square, green circle, and blue triangle

whenever there are special objects display at my IE, i got a red square, a green circle, and a blue triangle at the top-left corner. i can see pictures and also flash. what i can't see are:
1) embed slideshow from slide.com (i can see the bottom bar of it);
2) embed slideshow from picasa web album;
3) xanga video and audio in entries (but i can still see them in the videoblog and audioblog page); and
4) the video on YouTube Channel page (videos in other Youtube page haven't this problem).
can anyone help me?
have you had this before?

Nip over here (http://secunia.com/software_inspector/) and run the tests. You probably need Java updates. ;)

The red square, green circle and blue triangle is the icon for Quick Time. If you don't have it installed, you can get it here (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/). Or, if you don't want to put up with QuickTime's constantly checking for updates, you can use the free QuickTime Alternative (http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Video-Players/QuickTime-Alternative.shtml).
