Hi, I have an old Linksys router (model BEFW11S4) and it is directly connected to two computers and a wireless computer. I am just wondering if it is possible to disconnect one of the computers at any time via the control panel or any method that is without physically pulling out the plug. I assume this would be a basic thing you could do, but the person who controls the router says he doesn't have the power to do it.

There is a way by using the filters in the router to block a system from accessing the internet.

The linksys routers, for at least the last 6 years, have offered an option in their routers call "Access Controls" in which you can specify blocks for IP addresses, MAC addresses, ports, etc and even give time frames on them.
