View Full Version : Problem loading pages on IE7

The last three days I've had difficulty loading pages on IE. It will very quickly give me the "Page cannot be displayed" screen fairly often, especially when clicking on a link to a different site or using tabs. When I click reload, it loads just fine. I've also noticed images not loading, but again, when I hit reload, they come up.

This is just happening all of the sudden and I can't think of any changes I've made in my computer. It's more than a little annoying and kind of worrisome

I'm using a Gateway notebook with XP, btw.

If anyone has any ideas on what's going on, your help would be very much appreciated.

Have you ran any scans for spyware/viruses lately?

My McAfee ran its weekly scan this morning and didn't really find anything. There were 9 tracking cookies it removed, when it normally finds 3-5, but no viruses or spyware.

I deleted he temporary internet files and I haven't really noticed a difference.

Are you using a wireless card /usb device to receive internet access?

Yes, it's the same card I've been using for months though, in the same location. A Linskys SRX 400 (2.4GHz).
