Good morning
i have a MX6440 Gateway Notebook.
specs:
Operating System: XP
Processor: AMD Turion 64 1.8 GHz, 512 KB L2 Cache
Memory: 1024 MB
Hard Drive 100GB, 4200 RPM.
the problem I am having is loading Office 2007.
I loaded Office 2003 and have used that for the last 6 months on this computer. I uninstalled it and bought Office 2007.
I put in the key and click ok.
then i check the agreement and get to the install now button.
i click that button and it starts spinning. i can see the hard drive flashing and then bam...it freezes.
i've tried 3 times. i have even sent the disk back after troubleshooting with the company and they sent me another disk back.
same thing happens. do i need more memory? is that why it freezes? how much more can i put in this computer?
