Hi I am really having serious problems with my router my set up is ntl broadband and my router is dl - 624 airplus extreme g my ethernet cable is connected from my pc tower to the router in 1 of the 4 ports at the back and another cable going from the broadband box to the wan port on the router i can connect to the internet but id say 15 times or more a day i lose connection which then i have to turn the router off then the broadband box off restart pc then connect broadband wait 3 minutes then connect router this gets me back on internet but only for so long until it happens again i have set the wap security on the router with a password ????? the kids use the pc and I use the laptop the pc is a dell desktop 2400 xp and my laptop is sony vaio xp pro oh also lost the insraler disk for the router so would be struggling to delete everything and start again ,,im not very good on pc,s so any help would be greatfully recieved but please reply in layman words so i can understand what to do lol thanks again in advance ,,Chris

What kind of broadband do you use (cable/dsl/etc)?

The broadband is cable ...was ntl but now virgin thx for answering

I haven't been able to find any major issues with your router that could cause this. I recommend that you go to dlink's website and check for a firmware update for your router. If that doesn't help, contact your ISP (this sounds like an issue with your modem to me).
