Adobe Flashplayer Problems!

Ok... So we used to have Adobe Flashplayer on our laptop, then all of a sudden it stopped showing Flashplayer content. I have tried soooo many times to download the new version. It uploads & it's on my control panel, but still no Flashplayer content! Help!! It's driving me mad!
