I've just been viewing a DVD on windows media player. When I I tried to play it I got an error message to the effect that the player was set to region 1 and gave me the option to change it to region 2 (N-America) to play it. Which I did but how do I switch it back to it's default for region 1? Cant seem to find it! (I supose I will get this error again when I put a region 1 in but honestly cant remember this type of error before and have played a variety of DVD's from both sides of Atlantic before)

If you have a post ~2002 dvd player it may have the "you can change the region setting 4 times before this dvd drive self-destructs" thing going on, and for a dvd you have legally bought this can be frustrating, try http://www.dvdidle.com/dvd-region-free.htm
gives you unlimited region changes, no matter where you bought the dvd
