hi i have a problem playing h264 quality video. it skips the video when i load subtitles and play it. please help me fix it or a reason as to y this happens thank you

What media player? What are you trying to play (and does the problem occur on all videos)? What are the specs of your system?

i have a 1.6ghz celeron with 256mb ram with 16mb shared video memory. i use gom player and vlc player but they both start skipping video when it is high quality .mkv or x264 format and if the resolution is higher than 740x396 . please help me fix this problem

Your hardware is not powerful enough to decode HD content adequately. See here (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/musicandvideo/hdvideo/choosingpc.aspx) for general HD specs required.
