I recently bought a used computor.
The images look like just the basic shapes and the colors are not accurate. It as though you are looking at a piece of art that has only 3 values of gradation, but in color.

My hardware accelerator is on full. I have 16 colors and display is 800-600 pixels.

I have changed monitors to a LCD.

Howdy:

Download the newest drivers for your video card and install them.

Once installed, try changing the color setting to 32 bit (high).

What is the make and model of your vid card?

Is it a separate card or integrated into the mobo?

If separate, go to the manufacturers website and get them from there.

If integrated, go to the computer or mo0bo manufacturers website and get them from there.

Murray,

I have no idea how to go about finding the answer to your suggestion. Is it possible there is no video card? Do I open the back of the tower to see the video card? If so, where should I be looking. My computer is a sonic vision or is it a vision sonic? Now my monitor is a envision.

The picture resolution I am talking about is when I use the internet. I haven't tried to download any pictures.

I am interested in trying to solve this problem with your help. I have a book windows 2000 complete comphrehensive of windows 2000 pro.
Is there something in it that I could look up?

Thank you for your support.
