A friend of mine spec'd out a Dell poweredge server with the following:
16 - 3.06 P4 processors
198 GB of RAM
4 AGP vid cards each with S-vid, DVI etc. and 1gig DDR
1800 GB of HD space this is after a RAID 5 config.
4 DVD burners - blue light (for multi copies)
4 CD readers so you can play music and copy to the 4 DVD burners at the same time you are installing two different programs.
Internal Router/Firewall (4 port)
blah blah... it costs $198,000

Truth be told I won't be happy till I can get one that has streaming video on demand that has no lag and that I can switch from source to source without downloading. I want the all the info stored off site. I want the ability to lay in my bed yards away from it and still have total control. Oh yes an instant boot.
100% compatiblity with external devices without the need to install software.
Lets see what else... Oh I know, I want it to be so stable that the only thing I have to do to it is a little dusting every now and then.
Now when they come out with a box like that, I'll never leave the house. :D  :D
Edit: Big Big Large viewing area say like 5 feet across.
