What is a pci communication device and where do I find a driver for it ?

A PCI Communications device could be a Modem or any other board/device used for communicating. What you'll need to do is do an inventory of what you've got installed that works and what doesn't. Is there no other data that's given to you when the "Found New Hardware" wizard comes up?

You could try to install a system analysis utility such as Aida32 from HERE and see what it gives you. The one you want is Personal Information version, and click on the EXE icon if you don't have or know how to use WinZip. Doubleclick on the downloaded file and it will cause the program to install Aida32.

Thanks for replying ....I finally have everything working now....All I needed was the right modem driver.
