I have a new pc Gateway GM5442 with a tv tuner. I have recorded some tv movies using Windows Media Center. When I go to burn them onto a dvd, I get a message say they are Protected. I know you can record them with a vcr onto a tape so why cant I record them on a dvd ? How can I get rid of this message and burn my programs?

Download and install DVDFab HD Decrypter. open it and then browse to where you have the recorded program and start it. Once it is done go the the folder that it puts it in and burn that.

After you run it you can download and run this on it first and it will shrink in automatically so that it will fit on a DVD easier. Then if you click backup it will analyze it and burn it to the DVD.

I downloaded and installed it, but I am not sure where to find my movies. They are in the Media Center but I went to Programs and cant find them. Also I tried doing a seach on DVDfab Hd Decrypter and ended up getting a tripple xrated website. Doing a scan to make sure there is nothing hidden now on my pc. Not sure how to find the place where the movies are kept

You will have to find them some how or the DVDFab and DVD Shrink won't be of any help.

In case anyone else reads this and wonders how to find them. I did a search for one of the movies and found it it in C:\Users\Public\Recorded TV
So now I can try it on my next break
Thanks again
