I am a total basketcase, babe in the woods sort of person when it comes to computers. I purchased a Toshiba Satellite A-135 w/Vista Home Premium.

Adobe released a new version of their flashplayer 9.0. I click on download, it runs through the whole senario of accepting the download, even restarts. but then I can't locate it.And I'm still told I can't view alot of videos due to having an old version of adobe/macromedia.

I also can't find any file named Java/Java script. which the sites ask if I have on.

Help !!!!!!!!!!!!:confused::curse::dizzy::sad:

monka, be sure that you are getting your computer up to date. go into windows update from the control panel. im not sure how there could be a problem, my computer hasnt had anything like that happen.

You downloads get put in a download folder....took me a while to find it LOL

Pathway through Vista is.....

start>computer>"C">users>"user name" (Col in my case)>downlaods

hope that works for you
